Pricing, Technical, and Listing Errors

Despite our best efforts, errors may occasionally occur in product descriptions, pricing, promotions, shipping charges, availability, or other information displayed on our website.

GenZ Electronics reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time and to cancel or refuse any order affected by such errors, including after an order has been submitted or payment has been processed.

If an order is canceled due to a pricing error, shipping miscalculation, system malfunction, or incorrect product information, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Return Window

We offer a 14-day return window, meaning you have fourteen (14) days from the date of delivery to request a return.

Return requests submitted after this period will not be accepted.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, the item must be returned in the same condition as received, without any new physical damage, and must include:

  • Original packaging (box, styrofoam, protective materials)

  • All accessories (remotes, stands, cables, manuals, etc.)

  • No physical damage caused after delivery

Items that do not meet these conditions may be refused or subject to deductions.

Restocking Fees

Due to the value and handling requirements of electronics, the following restocking fees apply:

  • Defective or Damaged on Arrival:
    0% Restocking Fee — subject to inspection and verification.

  • Non-Defective Returns (Buyer’s Remorse):
    Returns due to change of mind, incompatibility, or preference are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

  • Missing Parts or Packaging:
    Replacement costs for missing accessories or packaging will be deducted from the refund.

How to Start a Return

To request a return, contact us at support@genzelectronics.ca with your order number and reason for return.

If your return is approved, we will provide return instructions.
Items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted.

For non-defective returns, return shipping costs may be the responsibility of the customer or deducted from the refund.

Shipping Damage & Inspection (CRITICAL POLICY)

Inspection on Delivery

Customers must inspect their shipment immediately upon delivery.

  • External Damage:
    If the shipping box is visibly damaged, you must refuse the shipment or clearly note “DAMAGED” on the carrier’s delivery receipt before signing.

  • Concealed Damage (TVs & Monitors):
    Televisions and monitors must be unboxed and inspected within twelve (12) hours of delivery for physical damage (cracks, lines, impact marks).

Damage reported after the 12-hour inspection window may not be eligible for coverage, as carrier insurance claims cannot be filed after this period.

Shipping Damage Responsibility

GenZ Electronics is not responsible for damage caused during shipping once the carrier claim window has expired.

Claims submitted after the inspection window may be denied and are not eligible for refund, replacement, or warranty coverage.

Lost Shipments

If a shipment is marked as delivered by the carrier but cannot be located:

  • We will assist by opening a carrier investigation.

  • Delivery confirmation, GPS scan data, photos, and carrier records will be used to determine the outcome.

  • Once a carrier confirms successful delivery, the order is considered fulfilled.

If a shipment is officially confirmed as lost by the carrier, we will issue a replacement or refund, at our discretion.

Defective Products & Warranty Coverage

Brand New Products

Brand New products are covered exclusively by the manufacturer’s warranty, typically one (1) year, unless otherwise stated on the product page.
GenZ Electronics does not provide a separate store warranty for Brand New items.

Open Box Products

Open Box products include a one (1) year GenZ Electronics Store Warranty, unless otherwise stated.

This warranty covers functional hardware defects only and does not cover:

  • Cosmetic imperfections

  • Physical or liquid damage

  • Software issues

  • Damage caused after delivery

Open Box Condition Disclosure

Open Box items are sold at a discounted price and may show minor cosmetic imperfections (such as light scratches or marks).
Cosmetic wear is not considered a defect and is not eligible for return.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Items marked “As Is” or “Final Sale”

  • Gift cards

  • Hazardous materials (e.g., loose batteries, flammable items)

Exchanges

The fastest way to receive a replacement item is to return the original product (if eligible) and place a new order once the return is approved.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, including verification of serial numbers and condition, we will notify you of approval or rejection.

  • Approved refunds are issued within 10 business days.

  • Refunds for non-defective returns will be issued minus the 15% restocking fee.

  • Processing time by banks or credit card providers may vary.
